What is the difference between custom stationery and templates?
Custom stationery is designed entirely from scratch and tailored to your wedding, including typography, layout and overall design direction. Templates are thoughtfully designed, ready-to-edit files intended for couples seeking a beautiful, accessible option with a quicker turnaround.
When should we enquire for custom services?
We recommend enquiring 4-6 months before you plan to send your invitations. This allows time for design, refinements and printing. For weddings with additional pieces or international timelines, earlier enquiries are welcomed.
What is the investment for custom invitation suites?
Final pricing for custom design services depends on the scope of your suite, formats required and any additional pieces. A tailored estimate will be provided following your enquiry. Our pricing is for design services only, printing is an additional cost.
Do you offer printing services?
Maiden focuses on design only. However, we’re happy to recommend our trusted printers and provide print-ready files to ensure a seamless result.
What software do I need to edit a template?
Each template listing is delivered via Canva. Please ensure you have access to Canva prior to purchasing.
Can templates be customised beyond what’s included?
Templates are designed to be edited within the parameters outlined on each product page. Structural or stylistic changes fall outside the scope of template support and may be better suited to a custom design service.
Are digital purchases refundable?
Due to the nature of digital products, template purchases are non-refundable. Please review the product details carefully before purchasing.
Why do printed colours sometimes look different to what I see on screen?
Screens display colour using RGB (light-based colour), while printing uses CMYK (ink-based colour). Because these colour systems work differently, slight variations between on-screen previews and printed pieces are normal and to be expected.
While all designs are prepared carefully for print, factors such as paper stock, ink density and printing methods can influence the final result. For this reason, colours may appear softer, warmer or more muted in print than they do on screen.
Maiden designs with print in mind from the outset and can provide guidance to help achieve the best possible outcome. However, exact colour matching between screen and print cannot be guaranteed.
